Health and Diets. Who knew They Changed?

Where are the chips and salsa?

The cheese enchilladas?

Do we diet to be beautiful or to be healthy?

Who determines the ideal body type for women anyway?

The answer to that lies somewhere between men and women. Men want their gals to look a certain way, and ladies do their best to oblige.

The earliest images of women are found in the Venus Figurines.  Women were on the hefty side. Real hefty, to say the least. They were the beauties of the day.

Through the 17th and 18th centuries, artists painted women with curves. Heavy on the curves.

Skip forward to the 1920's, and you'll find skinny-minis.
In the 1950's, the rage was Marilyn Monroe.

If you've been reading this blog, you'll see how women's sizes have changed from the 1960's to today. The CDC keeps statistics on us.

From our sizes today, we appear to be headed back to the Venus Figures. That may not be so bad. As long as we are healthy, and as long as our men like us.

Have you read Sarah and the Angelic, Magical Makeover?  You'll like it. Sarah makes you laugh. Scroll down for more info on makeovers and read a blurb from the book.
